Stolen

Thu 2 - Fri 3 February 2012

More than 30 Western saddles have been stolen from the Gipsy Horses Ranch in Belgium and are believed to have been exported. The example pictured is a dark oil Circle-Y Reiner with a red seat (apparently the only one of its kind in Belgium) and another was a medium oil White Star Butterfly Reiner.  More photos

Burglary overnight at a yard in Leigh Sinton (Malvern) in Worcestershire and all the Western show tack was stolen including a DON FREDERICK Western saddle handmade in the USA of which there are only 3 in the UK.

Burglary overnight at a yard near Alcester (Warwickshire) and all the tack stolen including Western "Roper" saddle in mid-tan leather with rounded skirt, Fleur-de-Lys tooling and white stitching, lightweight wooden tree with Full-QH bars and 16" light-tan suede seat, cream piping on (damaged) horn, worn leather-bound stirrups, tan/wine leather in-skirt rigged back cinch with pocket and matching tooling, new neoprene front cinch, western saddle pad in blue, purple & red wool, hand-made western split-ear bridle in light tan with white stitching, darker pony-size reins, curb bit with ported-bar copper mouth and swept-back shanks.

Tack room broken into by a very professional gang and stole Circle Y Lite saddle in dark tan, 16" with a string cinch, dark tan leather billet & latigo.  Also matching headstall reins & breast collar in dark tan with three Texas Star conchas.  Postcoded MK45 4ND under the saddle.

Circle-Y 1647 Gold Medal reining saddle serial no 137590100497 with matching new breastcollar stolen from Worcester area after stranger visited yard asking about scrap metal.  As picture but with matching seat instead of dark brown.
